The operating income of wood processing and wood, bamboo, rattan, brown and grass products was 200.49 billion yuan, down 0.3% year-on-year; Operating costs were 182.05 billion yuan, down 0.9% year-on-year: total profit was 6 billion yuan, up 10.1% year-on-year.
From the overall data, the total profit of industrial enterprises in the first quarter from January to March was 1,505.53 billion yuan, with a year-on-year increase of 4.3%. At a press conference held by the State New Office recently, Sheng Laiyun, deputy director of the National Bureau of Statistics, said that industry is a bright spot in the recovery of development in the first quarter, the total industrial added value increased by 6%, 3.1 percentage points faster than the first quarter of last year, 0.8 percentage points faster than the fourth quarter of last year, showing that the industrial economy has recovered to a good trend
